38 wks and 4 1/2 dilated and 91 effaced. How long were you guys this dilated before going into labor. I'm feeling impatient..

usually just them checking your cervix can cause you to go into labor i got checked and the nurse told me that i might have spotting and if heavier than a period to come in and she said because the midwife checked my cervix it could cause my water to break and if so come in. that was last sunday and so far I havent experienced any contractions or anything which is a blessing I dont want that happening yet but its too early for me so who's to say it won't happen for you:)
I can't even imagine @theirmommy_2! I would sit at the hospital and make them admit me lol
girl I'm 38 weeks and 6cm dilated been like this since last Friday and still no progress -.-
40 wks 6cm. i didn't want to be just sitting at the hospital eating ice chips lol
I haven't had any contractions and haven't lost my mucus plug, so I feel like it's still going to be awhile. These last few weeks just drag on!
Nope I didn't have any signs. I was just going about my business at home and I thought I was having BH but they was coming too frequent. So I timed them and sure enough within 2-3 hours of having them and going to the hospital I was 7 cm when I arrived 😳😂. That was on a Sunday my appointment was that Friday and I was closed up tight lmbo
my doctor said "any day" ... HOW ?! 😂😂 My cervix was so hard to reach and she said she THINK she got one finger in and I don't get any contractions. . I think she only said that so I don't start crying lmaoo @livismommy

@adevlin2, I just feel like being this far dilated is what is making me more impatient! Because he keeps saying it could be any time now.
I never was dilated before I went into labor Lol.
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...

Saturday at 1AM, lost my mucus plug/bloody show, and I was freaking out! A couple of hours later I had cramping, but felt like BH just a little stronger. They came and went, but felt stronger with each hour. Didn't sleep that whole night! I called the midwife at my hospital and told her I lost it and was having really bad cramping and she told me I was fine and was prob just having BH contractions.
The next day I was having what I thought were strong BH contractions every 10-...
Got to the hospital at 4 am to start my pitocin, well.. I was put on the drip at 430 am , and was 4cm dilated and 80 percent effaced, an hour later. The nurse came in to check me, hours later, and I was at 6 cm. I got the epidural at 6cm.. But it didn't work for me, no more than 20 minutes later, I couldn't take the pain, I was screaming and crying.. And felt everything.. most terrible pain ever, I called for my nurse to come in and she checked me again, said I was ready to deliver, babys head ...
Losing the baby
My sil is about 4 months along in her pregnancy and she starting bleeding really heavily so my dh took her to the hospital. He said she's dilating but hasn't texted back yet.
Contraction questions
I had a membrane sweep today. Before the sweep I was 3-4 dilated & 75% effaced.
Well I hope it did something @vrt04042016 lol guess only time will tell
