I have one huge important question.. I had a vaginal birth & had to be cut a little so I have some stitches.. They didn't tell me at the hospital if I could take a hot bath or not so I've been taking showers.. Is it okay to take a hot bath or not??

no only showers. you don't want water to get in or really directly on to the stitces

I had episiotomies with 4 of my children and was told warm, not hot soaks in the tub are OK, but no longer than 30/min at a time and to make sure and dry myself very well by blotting afterwards!
