I had one with my daughter it went pretty well and they did a bikini line incision and a plastic surgery sew up so you can't even see my scar but when they did the procedure you feel nothing but a little pressure but everything is numb and I was pretty cold afterwards due to blood loss but they give you a bunch of warm blankets to warm you up ....healing wise it wasn't any fun coughing sneezing etc you need to hold a pillow up to your belly so it doesn't hurt so bad

I thought it was pretty fun.lol but I guess I'm weird. mine was an emergency the first time but this one will be planned. it's really not so bad the only thing that I really didn't like is that I was really cold for a while afterwards due to blood loss but other than that i thought it was a neat experience. just go in being positive. (:

oh and your hubby will probably get to hold your baby first. I was so jealous of that! lol
