they swabbed the vagina and the butt. he sprung that on me and I was like... can I have a moment to mentally prepare for that butt swab? @paisleysmom

yeah. it's nessecary. they gotta make sure nothing passes onto baby. so the group b strep can be passed through the Anus or the vagina. so they have to check for both @paisleysmom

I honestly don't think I've ever had my butt swabbed.... Lol

@mommatata131416, they usually do it around 36 Weeks. it wasn't too bad or anything like that.. but I had to mentally prepare. I don't like anything being near my butt.

@xbbycolletto, I'm pretty sure I'll give her a crazy look . lol but ill do it of course as there is always new tests so whatever is best is what I let the Dr.s do.

They always do it u may just not have known... They have to because if it's positive and you deliver it can harm the baby and if it's positive they just give u an antibiotic and during deliver via iv ..
