GM mommies I'm at the Dr. office for my first ultrasound is it transvaginal or abdominal???

transvaginal is uncomfortable little pressure too...least was for me

More uncomfortable than hurt. I had both kinds at 8wks

Either one. But transvaginal gets clearer view this early

Mine tried abdominal but then switched to transvaginal because you can see more that way when they are that little! Transvaginal wasn't uncomfortable for me at all, it's all about how gentle your doc is with the wand

i got both at 6 wks

mine was abdominal but I also didn't get my first one till 12 weeks even though I knew at 5 weeks I was pregnant

Depends on your dr. My dr has done all abdominal
