my personal opinion, if it was true love then things could be talked about and worked out. however if it's just lust then it will never work.

My husband went through this with his first wife. She came up pregnant with another mans baby, and even though he loved her, he couldn't accept her betrayal. He forgave her, eventually, but as far as him raising a child she admitted was not his, or continuing a marriage that had been stained by cheating, he just couldn't. A man isn't measured by "stepping up". A man is measured by standing by what he believes. For my husband, he believed that marriage is sacred and vows shouldn't be broken. I don't know if this was a personal post or just in general, but that is my answer.

I'm in this situation currently we were separated and I found out once we were trying to work things out. I'm so nervous I'm trying to not get overwhelmed by it @symone2016
