It's all fear mongering. Personally I feel like zika is a form of population control. it's been around for a while and now they're telling people not to get pregnant for at least two years until they can find a "cure"? hmm.

👏 I'm not discounting Zika virus and it's ability to do some damage, but the news in the US is really good at fearmongering.

it just irks me that they're telling people to not get pregnant for 2 years til a "cure" is found. I promise in about 3 months everyone and the news will drop the attention towards it. Just like they did with every other yearly virus that comes out that does some damage. hell at the rate the media goes. one day they'll say that the sun will cause such bad radiation that we'll all drop dead, and everyone's gonna freak out over that and become house hermits 😂 @liveitwithlove @katarama I feel this whole Zika virus is a little over exaggerated. I don't think anyone has realized how many babies have been born in 2015 and will be born In 2016. sounds to me like the government is trying to scare some people so the numbers drop down a bit

girl I joke that my mom had the Zika virus cuz when you have it you get conjunctivitis and my mom had that in both eyes, so I tell ppl my mom survived the Zika virus, we all laugh about it lol
