My water broke and had my son 28 hours later...it felt like a water balloon popping inside!..doc wanted to induce me a week 1/2 before that happened but I wanted to wait for my baby to come when he was ready :)

ah i bet!!

it was definitely a weird feeling lol the best part was I got an epidural at 2cm lol with my second I didn't get an epidural till about 6-7 cm and that was hell lol

My water broke at 36 weeks and contractions started about 45 minutes later for me

@kmally, i know it's rare, and i know you don't have to be induced if it doesn't break but i just am getting close to my due date and next appointment they are setting up induction date

My water broke and I had my baby 24 hours later.

Only 4% of women have their water break before labor starts. With my first it broke while I was in active labor (we think while I was laboring in the shower because I don't remember/never felt it happening). With my second it broke at home. Just because it doesn't break doesn't mean you have to be induced.

My water fully broke and I didn't start contracting for a few hours.

my water never broke until they broke it at the hospital. she actually broke it twice..heck I also didn't know after you had the baby you had to push out the placenta. :/
