hi ladies, I have a question. how do I pick out a pediatrician? I have one picked one but do I have to call the office? what do I tell them? how does that work?

My hospital gave me a list of physician practices with privileges at the hospital. I checked my insurance and found one that way. The office I selected has a new patient visit where I got to go in and meet with the doc I selected. It was great.

I'm not sure what type of insurance you have but I go through Kaiser and was told that I could browse through the pediatricians and choose one but won't be able to actually select the one I want until my baby was born .
