The other night my husband asked me if it was ok that when he gets out of the army he smokes weed for the first time ever. I said "yes but honestly its not that big of a deal you get high and it only lasts maybe an hour or two and thats it no point really." And he didn't get too mad but I could tell he got a little upset. I don't get addicted to things easily I have tried cigarettes, vapes, weed, and spice and honestly wasn't that good I don't understand how people do that everyday. I just don't want my husband to quit his cigarette smoking habit and exchange it for weed as we will be moving to NC in september and its not legal there. I want my daughter to grow up with two parents that are great role models for her.

smoking cannabis doesn't make you a bad parent.
its not addictive either, addiction is in the mind, & if you're weak minded, you'll be easily addicted to anything
cannabis is a natural way to cope with depression, anxiety, ptsd, basically stuff a lot of soldiers suffer from when they're released from the army
i have no idea if your husband was actually in the fight or had a different job, in the military
but i would just ask why he wants to smoke...
medical marijuana is okay, recreational isn't

No its not for anything like that he has never been deployed or anything he told me he wants to try it because he never done it before. I fully support the use of medical marijuana. But I have met so many people who smoked it recreationally and let's just say they weren't the best people I wanted to be around. I just don't want him to do it all the time after he tries it because he already got addicted to cigarettes, I don't think weed would be very different but yeah I get your point about that @youngg.mommyy

some people use cannabis for the wrong reasons & give the cannabis community a bad look.
i know a few parents that smoke & are better parents than my own...
it all depends on the person & if they lack motivation to keep thriving
but i personally wouldn't let him smoke a shit ton... ya know?

I smoked weed every day for two years. The only negative thing is its expensive (depending on how much ya smoke) and its illegal in my state. my bf and I love to smoke and it makes us super close. its not for all people. I don't recommend smoking too much while pregnant. unfortunately there is a lot of bad people who smoke it recreationally, but there's bad people that drink and smoke cigs too. just have to meet the right people

i dont smoke at all i said i wasnt gonna do drugs anymore after i tried spice and i followed through with that i havent done any drug for 4 years now. And its not good to do any kind of drug while pregnant...

cigarettes are way worse than weed. weed is non-addictive and all natural. you should want your hubby to quit cigs b4 it's too late. weed is not for the weak minded or the spiritually weak.
