Is anyone else going to be giving birth without their significant other being there? my boyfriend is halfway across the country trying to get us established by may so we can all permanently move and he is going to miss the baby being born 😢 I know when I go into labor I am gonna be sad knowing he won't be there

One just had a baby (she's a no go), the other is 14 (also a no go) & my eldest is afraid she'll miss it because my labor was so quick with my daughter
I'm pretty sure my mom will be there.. she does travel with her job sometimes so hopefully she will be around. and will any of your sisters come ? they might be able to be there for some of it @mrsthig
@mrsthig, I know! cause my bf was amazing with my daughter he really helped me through it 😞 we will get through it but it won't be the same

I wouldn't mind someone face timing during labor, but I might only have my mom with me so idk if there would be anyone to do it haha. and the only thing that makes it a little better is that he saw our daughter be born. so at least this time around I know what to expect with labor since I won't have him there helping me through @_idekcats
im sorry your going through that sweetie :( maybe you can try video chat while your I'm labor so he can atleast see? your strong love and may is rite around the corner :)
I am so sorry honestly I'd be depressed if that happened, but the nurses are super supportive the whole time as I've watched with both my sister and aunt! I'm sure they'll be a great support system for you and so will everyone else! Maybe you could have someone FaceTime him if you were comfortable with that happening while you were in labor?
