anything special happen at 37 week doctor appointment?

I just left mine. they had me swab my vj and butt hole..

that was about it other than my belly. measuring. lol

@caitbugg7, for me same as what @aminaisazasmami said and he also checked for dilation.

@aminaisazasmami, I'm not that far along yet but I am not sure I understand swabbing. our but hole.

@whitneym, they told me they don't check for dilation until I actually go into labor and then they will do.it at the hospital. I didn't think that was right. she told me it causes infection if they do it to soon or too much

@serenitysmommy7.25.16, it's something about checking for infection around that area that can pass to the baby when u go into labor. I didn't really understand it either

@aminaisazasmami, and yes it can cause infection if done too often but as far as you are now I wouldn't say it is too soon.

@whitneym, but they didn't swab...they made me swab myself in the bathroom. they haven't even looked down there once thru my whole pregnancy. kind of makes me nervous
