What are your thoughts on a baby shower for a second or third pregnancy? This is my 3rd child and we didn't have one for my second because my step mom who wanted to throw it but waited until I was 37 weeks to tell me she couldn't. So we rushed to buy everything we didn't already have. Just curious because I personally believe in celebrating each pregnancy, plus my daughter and this baby will be 4 years apart.
i have 3 kids and had a baby shower for my oldest and the baby im pregnant with now. idk y everybody makes up all these rules for baby showers but i think if u want one have one.
I think u should have one, but probably not as big as the first one. My brother has done one for every baby and they have 5 kids
I am having one. My kids will be 7 years apart and different gender.
Every child deserves to be showered with blessings. How you choose to do it is your choice. I say go for it
Ok that's kinda what we were going to do :)
I've had five kids and I celebrated in some way every time. I only called the first one a "baby shower" but it was basically the same thing every time. Just less presents, which makes sense.
Ok thanks ladies :) My mom was like no one has a baby shower for their second or third baby (I figured she was going by when she had me 25 years ago).
my aunt had her third child and she did a "baby sprinkle" real cute.
My husband was going to throw it I never expected anyone to throw me one :)
Im on baby 3 and having a baby shower in about 2 weeks but this is my first boy and everything I had from my girls carseat stroller etc was destroyed at my old house :/ but my friends have had 2-3 showers. They threw their second and third ones themselves.
For my third no one throw one for me I suggested if you have money to throw it yourself
Basically we would just do cook out food, cake and presents would be accepted but I don't push them to bring one (I feel greedy).
If you want one throw one. I just had my 2nd one for our 2nd. when we have our 3rd I'll probably just do a sprinkle where people come visit for a small get together a little after the baby is born. every child deserves to be celebrated ♡♡♡
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
:) thanks everyone
