With this being my first boy, this whole circumcision process is scaring me. I don't know what to expect.

you'll be fine. just clean it probably and use lots of Vaseline. that's what I did and my son was fine. He healed beautifully. :)

@reaganmommy2015, which is fine... But you have to "clean" their penis regardless of being intact or not. The baby would be fine if she left him intact.

^you clean it like you would a finger. You don't retract at all, because that can do damage. So no. It's similar to if you have a girls. You don't mess with her vagina... Lol @reaganmommy2015

I understand what you are going through and I know you know all the pros and cons I'm just trying to comfort you saying my son is a happy and healthy baby boy I hope it all goes well momma 😀👍🏻

It doesn't hurt them at all. You just have to keep in mind that if you don't do it you will need to clean it for them since bacteria grows in the forskin until they are able to take care of it themselves

I would do some research and maybe present to him the perks of leaving the baby intact. I mean, ultimately, it is a decision you'll both have to agree on. I did have a friend who waited two months(was supposed to be done right after birth, but he ended up having to spend a while in the nicu and so they scheduled it later) so that is an option.

You don't HAVE to circumcise. I know several mom's who didn't, and their Littles are just fine.

My son was fine. Even after he was fine. Just put a lot of Vaseline on it so it doesn't stick to the diaper (:
