One of my close friends had a natural birth at 17... it has nothing to do with age. If it's what you want then you got this :3

I hated people telling me that. 😒 they shut up once you show them you can, because age has nothing to do with it.

like people in my family seem to think, since I'm so small im (5ft) and that I'm so young I just don't have it in me? like okay.😂🖕🏼

wow age definitely doesn't matter

Sometimes your size can affect whether you can give natural birth or not but defintely not your age! You got this (:

People look at me like I'm crazy when I say I want to try for a natural birth. And usually they'll say something like "Yeah, okay. Good luck." And I'm not 18. I think people just have an opinion regardless of age. I constantly hear things like "Just wait" "Oh this is your first, that's why" and it bothers me. Not every person is the same. But proving them wrong will feel that much sweeter. And as far as size goes...I watched one of those birth shows and they had two stories. The one was a 5ft tiny woman. She weighed like 90 lbs before she was pregnant. She went all natural and had almost a 9 lb baby. The second was a taller woman, probably like 5'8 and she was bigger. She couldn't do a natural and asked for meds barely 20 minutes in. Her baby was about 7 lbs. I really think it just depends on the mom. Every person is different. People just like to lump you in with them. They think because they couldn't or wouldn't, neither can you.
