ugh I know this probably isn't the place to discuss this but its where I go to vent. I've always been pro choice to some extent. It's not my place to judge a woman's decision at all and I never really knew anything about pregnancy and developing babies until I got pregnant but I saw this video that was posted on Facebook today and I found out they allow abortions up to 24 weeks! that makes me physically sick.. I've felt my son move since about 15ish weeks. I heard his heart beat way earlier than that and I've read all the apps about his development daily.. I cant imagine terminating a pregnancy at all but that late is even worse. I get it if its medically necessary but if not I just can't.. that baby has a fighting chance outside the womb even at 24 weeks. It has feelings and a consciousness.. I couldn't even make it through the whole video..I was bawling my eyes out. I think its safe to say I'm way less pro choice now..

Watching videos like that will make you less pro choice but you do know those that put those videos out make them to fit their agenda just like there was a pic put out by prolifers showing a 18 or 24 week baby looking like an almost full term baby which was a complete lie. I am pro choice but for myself after having kids and also having had an abortion I couldn't do it again now that I have kids. I too don't think ppl should be having abortions at six months unless medically necessary

Yeah. I think they need to limit the allowed time and may be it wouldn't be such an awful thing to most people. Like I said it's not my place to judge another woman's decision but I can't help it when it's such a late term one and it wasn't a life or death thing. I just feel for the baby @ginag918

I'd probably slap someone if they tried to use that argument lol if you've been pregnant you know it is in fact a baby before it's born..@graysonsmama,

@ginag918, I am with you in every word you said. I was going to have to have an abortion at week 6 because of health reasons for my child and I and I broke down so so so bad. I cried more that week that I have my entire life. I couldn't imagine I was going to end that life. for 3 days I didn't sleep. I went to the basement and day and night prayed to God to help me I looked like a dry prune from crying. I told God that his hands and power and diagnosis were better than the doctors. I told him to heal my baby and that if that baby wasn't meant to be to please allowed me to have a natural miscarriage but to not allow the human hand to remove my child piece by piece. we were referred by our Dr to this abortion house. I couldn't even enter. I ran back in the car and cried. I waited till my 10 week appointment and the doctors told me my baby was healthy. that there was no worry any more. I was so thankful to God. there might still be a little chance of problems but I just can't .. I couldn't. I saw a few videos and I threw up from seeing what they do to these babies.

I totally agree, every woman should have a choice but me being pregnant now I could never have an abortion mainly because I know it would affect me for the rest of my life. I would think about it everyday... It is really sad, but sometimes I can understand.

@maciecakes, i agree i was totally pro choice until i got pregnant and had a miscarriage the first time. I mean every woman has a right to do what they want for their body but for real f**k the people who say baby is not a human being or a life until such and such weeks or even after baby is born. i acknowledge my first baby everyday and i consider myself a mother of 2 even though the first pregnancy i only got to 10 weeks. A life is a life the moment the heart starts beating.

You women who have had a child admit that it's a child in the womb. Therefore, aborting it would be murder. It's not kind to say you're okay with women doing that. The baby is another human, not a life to be taken at the will of another.

its still no ones place to make that decision except the woman who's pregnant. I mean I'd hope the woman wouldn't do it just for selfish reasons because there are other options if you're not ready to be a parent but no one but her knows the exact situation shes facing. If she was raped or whatever. I also hope if that decision was made that it would be done humanely and not at 6 months pregnant...@kiwi314,

Where do you draw the line though? You seem like you're okay with women choosing abortion up to a certain point. When is it wrong to kill the baby and when do you view to as acceptable and not murder of another life?

Personally I'm not okay with it..like I could never get one. I've just been raised not to judge another person for what decision they make. I don't know at what point it would be "acceptable" which is why I could never get one. However as someone who has been raped I can say the mental toll that takes on a person is Hell..I couldn't imagine having to carry a baby that was the product of something so horrific and have a constant reminder of it. I get that it's not the baby's fault but how would that child feel anyway...growing up knowing it was conceived out of hate. So I take that back.. Rape would be the only way I could ever get an abortion and find it acceptable for myself. But to each their own I guess @kiwi314

I totally sympathize with victims of rape. But I still think it is murder to kill an innocent child. Let me ask you...should anything be done if a mother kills her child outside of the womb? Or is that her business, too?
Macie 🤘🏻 Simon·

Well yes obviously. I think they should look into her mental health and probably give her treatment. To go through an entire pregnancy + birthing a child and still be able to inflict harm screams mental illness to me @kiwi314
Kiwi·
Okay, you acknowledge it would be murder because it is an innocent human. And you believe it is an innocent human inside the womb. So shouldn't it be dealt with as murder in either case? Or does an innocent life inside the womb somehow make murder justifiable and not needing government intervention? I don't believe a baby's life is less valuable based on its location, therefore there should be laws protecting it in any case.
