I think I that the whole raw fish issue is mostly because of how many people find worms in their Sushi. I'm not claiming to be a scientist or anything that's just my opinion. lol

I was always told I could eat certain fish (as listed in the first article) due to mercury content in other fish... I ate tuna quite a bit during both my pregnancies..... also some salmon and cod

well certain types of fish do have high murcury content and shouldn't be eaten but you right fish is a good diet source and can be eatten in moderation of the right kind of fish. tuna is best if it's light tuna because abocore tuna can contain more murcury

@aphrodite2014, yeah and that website posts all the fish you shouldn't and their mercury levels. @sarahdrew I know and so it bugs me when people have the wrong info! like my grandma was getting on me about eating tuna salad! I'm like really.. and then I've seen a lot of girls on here whining and crying about it lol

@amber188, I'm glad you posted it lol I'm not pregnant but now all the mamas to be on here can have the right info.... I loved me some tuna melts when I was pregnant... I had to limit myself to 1 a week cuz the restaurants around here loaded the sandwiches lol

Yeah that's what mu doctor told me to do anyways was to only eat tuna once a week but shrimp and salmon and stuff were fine ! @sarahdrew
