I had partial previa early on so I had my ob explain the difference to me
@hermommy, is correct I had a complete placenta previa
placenta previa is when the placenta covers the cervix completely... a low lying placenta means it's close to the cervix but not covering it
@rylansmomma I'm gonna double check with my doctor to see what I have the next time I go bc when I Google low lying placenta it comes up as placenta previa
@hermommy what's the difference then because when you Google it, it shows they are the same
I think placenta prévia is when the placenta covers the cervix opening.

I found out yesterday, at my 20 week scan, that I have an anterior placenta and won't feel my baby kick as much due to it. Not until late pregnancy. Anyone else have the same thing? If so, when did you feel your baby kick?

A print of my placenta (that's blood) & the umbilical cord.
It's a service they offered at the birth center. Also got the placenta encapsulated. She also gave me a placenta tincture & "broth". How amazing!!
@hermommy, is absolutely right... with a previa that chance is smaller and a c-section is required... just low-lying has a higher chance of moving
