Anyone else feel like your family doesn't support your birth plan? it's so frustrating.

My entire family was against my plans. But thankfully, they weren't in charge and I got what I wanted for the most part. After the birth, they haven't said a word about it.

My mom practically laughed. she thinks my expectations are un realistic. luckily I have several copies of my birth plan and my husband is well informed of what I want.

I told my mom I want to try to do natural.. She told me i would never laugh and told me I'm unrealistic as well. She told me she cannot wait to tell me she told me so. I never said I wouldn't cave. Just wanted to see if I could get far and if I could maybe I could do the entire birth with no meds. She literally told me I won't make it dilated to a 2.

Not laugh.. Last* just realized I typed laugh lol. But yes. I was so mad today when she told me that. Everytime I tell her that she just takes it at a joke. She seriously laughs. Completely agree, hate not being taken seriously.
