so frustrated right now. this is exactly why I didn't want to breastfeed! God for bid anyone else sooths him while I'm making dinner. ugh!
@kimberlyyyy, I'm glad I'm not the only one that has delt with this. I just don't understand why he has to be like this. it's not like he hasn't delt with babies before we now have 2 together and a 9 year old with a way back ex so he's been thru this before. I have a swing but once he wants out he wants out. I guess I'll have to get a baby carrier. I didn't get one this time because I figured I wouldn't need it. I had one with my daughter and only used it 2 times
My husband is the same mostly but there have been a few times he's helped the baby latch or just take my boob out and put the baby next to me because jj finds it on his own now
I formula fed my first and I'm breastfeeding my second. I understand the frustration. My husband wouldn't even handle him or do his cares when we brought him home because he was so small still, so I was the one who did all the feeds and diaper changes and tried getting the housework done as well. A baby swing and baby carrier have been lifesavers for me. The annoying-ness of being the sole provider of food goes away over a few months. It will get better!!
@kimberlyyyy, he takes a pacifier but won't if he is ready to eat or wants to be held. dinner will be done in 10 mins so I only need someone to hold him and calm him for a couple mins. @jjsmommyjj711 daddy has barley held him since we came home. it has alot to do with the breastfeeding cuz with our daughter she was formula feed and he would hold her or feed her when I was busy. I'm just so fed up with it.
put him in a chair (bouncy or highchair ) or walker and let him watch that's what I usually end up doing with jj when my sister can't hold him
My son only likes one of my sisters to hold him if I can't ,he freaks if I leave and my husband had him
@jjsmommyjj711, I still have to help Xander find it. hes only a little over a week old.
