you should have enough time as long as they get the birth certificate issue fixed in a timely manner

you will most likely just have to fax the birth certificate and possibly social security card (somehow get a copy of that idk about faxing that) to the insurance company, it would be considered a major life change so you shouldn't have to wait for a special time (this is for health insurance) I would assume other things would be the same

@sarahdrew, I'm working on changing the whole thing and having someone "adopt me" to get Sara far away from me but idk how it Wil work with insurance and everything else

you can legally have someone afoot you at the age 20 my fiances dad adopted him when he was 18 and you will have to get a new birth certificate because if some one else adopts you their name will be out on it as your parents. you'll have to change everything bc, ssc

you changed it legally? we're you given a form? I would think that if they gave you a legal document stating the name change it doesn't matter about birth certificate, just like @karnamarie said about her marriage license...

o know when I changed my last name when I got married you have to go to the Social Security office and change your name on Social Security card, drivers license and they said since I had a marriage license I didn't have to change my birth certificate but if I didn't have the marriage license I would have to change the birth certificate as well

I believe you would have to reapply for a birth certificate
