The Business of Being Born has justified a lot of things I've learned in class. It's sad to think that I wouldn't know half of this stuff if I wasn't a Pre-Med major. Most of the medications they give you in labor and for inductions makes your labor sooooo much harder and longer than if you just let your body do it naturally.

I wish I knew this when I was 17 and giving birth to my first. I was induced and had an epidural and was given another drug that made me so loopy. I can't wait for my all natural birth!

@motherlotus, yeah! My mom had her first all natural and then one with epidural, she said she hated it sooooo much! There's a total of nine of us and 8 were born all natural and they were born in a few hours, the one that she had the meds with took 15 hours.
