so I have gained 17-20 lbs 24 weeks how can I make sure not to gain to much more? I was on bed rest for 6 weeks which is when the weight came on at its most I have been walking now
and I bloat more now because I am so constipated makes me feel huge @indigenousmommy
see I couldn't do anything for 6 weeks from 14 weeks to 20 weeks now beinng back at work and being active I have lost 2 or so lbs and feel better
You should be ok with what you've gained just try to get more exercise in.
@babyr061616, I'm 5'5" and was 155 lbs when I got pregnant, my doc said that's slightly overweight for my height. Told me to try to keep my weight gain to 15-20 lbs max. I haven't gained anything yet because I cut a lot of stuff out. I'm 14 weeks. I try to exercise at least 3 times a week for 30 minutes.
The average weight gain is 40 pounds but if you're a little on the heavy side to start with you should try to not gain as much. Unless your doctor has said otherwise you should be fine
I will start eating better I have never been a very healthy eater to start
am I going to be okay at where I'm now? its all belly and boobs my boobs are so so so heavy they have grown 2 cup sizes and I was a F to start @indigenousmommy @meboom01
Stay active, less fried and processed foods, more raw and cooked veggies. Watch portion sizes. I know it's hard, I gained 60 pounds my first pregnancy because I ate way too much and I ate unhealthy foods majority of the time.
@babyr061616, don't be hard on yourself then. Just make some changes with your diet since you're already moving around more. Good luck!! 😊
