At how many weeks did you ladies have the car seat all set up in your car ?

I dont think it matters because either way you have to take it to the hospital so they can inspect it and make sure baby fits in it

not every hospital has to inspect it. it's up too you if u want to take it and have it inspected where I live.

Im pretty sure they have to put the baby in it for a certain amount of time and make sure they can breathe while sitting in it and that they fit in it properly. @jasmine98

not where I live as long as you have one to leave with they don't care, they give u a free one if u don't have one to leave with. but they don't check it or anything unless u call and ask them to check it before the bsby is born. they don't help you leave the hospital where I live either.

Mine are in now I'm 37 weeks but I'm considered due any day so I wanted to be prepared

you do it all on your own unless u call before the baby is born then they just check to see if it's installed right.

I think any time u want to put them in would be fine, some hospitals check some don't unless you ask. check what your hospital does. it's always great to know ahead of time.

I took mine to the fire department the day before I was induced. They taught me how to install it properly.

My hospital inspects the car seats just because they will not let me take the baby if the car seat doesn't have a headrest so the babies head won't be all over the place

I didn't put it in until we had him. I was super worried about getting in a wreck with it and then being forced to buy a new one. I'll probably do the same with this baby too. But that's just me. I'm a worry wart. 😳
