I don't know why, but my gut is telling me to go to L&D to be checked. At my 37 week appointment on Monday, I was 4cm dilated and was told I have group b strep (booooo). I've been having contractions, although not very consistent, for about a week, and even more since my appt. since this is my 4th kid and I know I have a very high pain tolerance, I'm afraid I'll get to the hospital too late to receive the antibiotics for the group b strep. I rather go and they tell me it's not time than to sit around wondering. Thoughts?

@mimiz, @skmamaof3 @mtsdaniels411 thanks mommies!! I feel better. Going to get dressed and go. The "worse" they can tell me is that my instincts were wrong

I was in twice this weekend and good thing I did, they are taking him out a week earlier than expected because my BP was through the roof. Wouldn't have known if I didn't go in.
