if you don't go into labor on your own you do not get the option to say no because of the safety of the baby

@nessa_475, You always have the option of saying no. It is your body. As long as there is nothing wrong with your baby and everything checks out you can absolutely wait to have a natural birth. Most doctors want to induce so they can deliver the baby on their own time instead of being called in. But yes you can tell them no

Don't let the doctors tell you that you don't have an option and that the baby is unsafe. Babies can stay in the womb up to 42 weeks. Your body knows exactly what to do and baby will come on its own on its own time without the help of inductions. You always have an option, even if they don't tell you 😊
