Has Anyone Ever Been In A Hot Tub While Pregnant??Cause My Husband Is Planning A Date Night And Our Room Has A Hot Tub...
Yes its relaxing but never get in if its to hot.
Dr's recommend not even taking a hot bath, use Luke warm water. Hot tub is out of the question lol
Ok and wow @jojobear0819 but if I do get in am going to make sure the water temperature is right
My parents have a hot tub. my mom has been a nurse for 16 years. she yelled at me for going in the hot tub lol. no need to cook the baby
I've gotten in one all three pregnancies but I made sure the temp wasn't over 100, it was basically warm bath temp
Ok @ce095 so I will go buy a duck thermometer and what degrees does it suppose to be
Ok @aimeewhitt so u didn't sit all the way in the tub and ok thanks @katarama
My hubby and I did this on Valentines. I just took the baby's ducky thermometer (bought at Walmart) to make sure the water was not too hot as I filled it, the heat is what worries the doctors not the jets. It was so relaxing.
I've been in a hot tub, but didn't put nothing above my knees in.
I haven't, but it's not recommended. Try not to stay in for too long if you do get in. Hot tubs raise your internal temperature, which can be bad for baby if it gets too high.
hot tubs.?
Hot tubs?
Are they safe?
I know hot tubs and jacuzzis are a NO NO...but what about whirlpool jetted tubs and spa tubs ??
Read a post on here that if ur dilated a hot bath would help dilate faster? Would a hot shower do the same thing? My bath tub sucks. @audreysmama
we went and looked at hot tubs today. we found one that you can turn the heater completely off or you can manually set the temperature. I'm wondering if I would even be able to sit in one now. what is the difference between a hot bath and sitting in a not so hot hot tub.
Ask your OB. I did it over the weekend. Just can't stay in for too long
