Does anybody know if you can refuse the blood work if you use a midwife? I've been to the lab and they have a really hard time drawing blood from me and I would really rather just skip all of that considering this is my fourth child all of my pregnancies and deliveries went very smoothly I'm not worried about anything.

@ilyric right and I'm pretty in tuned with my body so if there's something wrong I have a good feeling I'd know.

Just be ready for the pressure lol the midwife wouldn't really pressure you as much but an ob will probably mention it at every visit

I did do the test for the trisomy 21,18,13 but that was just a finger prick and ultrasound. As long as that's OK I hope I don't need to go to any more labs. I was poked 6 times Monday and no luck. I had to have blood drawn a few months ago and it took 3 labs, 7 ppl and a week and a week and a half to get it. :-(
