I started my journey exclusively pumping but now... I can't do it anymore because it's too time consuming to pump for 15 minutes and feed her for awhile too. My suggestion to you is try both, if your baby won't nurse... Pump. Now I pump all day at work and feed her when I'm around her.
@elizabeth0220, I'm trying to do this now but my daughter is having some digestive issues so idk how it's going to work. Plus pumping is so time consuming but I haven't given up yet
I did exclusively breast milk until 8 mos. it had its challenges, like it was winter and we lost power and my milk supply was completely ruin which cause me to sub with formula until it built back up. But back then i used the platex drop in's system. So is just deforest the milk under hot water in the storage bags and just slip them into the bottle. When going out I carried an ice pack for daddy to feed as well.
I didn't introduce my little ones to bottled breastmilk until they were at least 4 months just so mom could get out to doc appts. but I found it easier doing that so when I stopped breastfeeding (for some reason by the time all my kids were 8 months my milk supply diminished) they had no issue latching onto a bottle.
