It all depends on your degree of tearing and it just depends on the woman. I had 4th degree tears and a second degree episiotomy. It took the full 6 weeks for me to stop bleeding. As long as you don't fill more than a pad an hour and don't have large clots it's completely normal momma!

I left the hospital earlier, and as we were walking down the hall, I felt this big clot come out. They said it was normal because I haven't been moving around a lot. Did you experience that too? They said as long as it's not the size of a softball, not to worry.

I had an all natural birth and bled for 2 weeks and then light bled for the last 4ish. it's a process but it's just your body healing (: just keep an eye out for major clots and call your dr if you're worried

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
