Did anyone's Doctor induce them at 39 weeks without it technically being medically needed . Like say you were uncomfortable ? I'm a first time mom and she said my baby is already too big for my body , and I'm just extremely miserable at this point and wonder if she will induce me at 39 weeks .

@adevlin2, My OB put her finger WAAAY up my hoo ha and scraped my cervix with the knuckle of her finger. I am 1 cm dilated 80% effaced.

I am 39 weeks too mama, request to have your membranes scraped to help speed up the process. I had mine done today, praying I go into labor tonight.
