Haven't been on here in a minute. I've been meaning to just trying to get use to being a new mommy ☺️❤️

Anyway... So my plan was to have a natural birth (no meds or anything). When I went to the hospital I was already 9cm. Had no idea I was in labor until maybe 30mins before. Don't know if anyone has told you that you'll know when you're in labor but that use to piss me off because I know that everyone is different and I have a pretty high tolerance for pain so I had a feeling I wouldn't know. Anyway... So yeah, once I got to the hospital my labor got real intense, so intense that I actually asked for an epidural even though I was so gung-ho on not having any meds but because I was 9cm they didn't want to. They kept trying to make me push but he wouldn't come down any further so they had me change positions every 30mins to see if that would help him come down but it didn't. They tried having me push again but still wasn't working. I was in so much pain I threw up like 5x and this was going on for hours so they asked the anesthesiologist if he would give me one and he did. After he gave it to me he ended up pulling a muscle in his back and so he had to sit in my room for 30mins while a nurse was rubbing his back lol. It was the weirdest feeling not know if or how to console him as I'm waiting for my labor pains to stop lol. Anyway so after that kicked in they had me push again but still nothing. They put a monitor in me and saw that it was causing my baby stress and his heart rate would drop every time I pushed. So they ended up having to give me a c-section. Felt like I was in Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory in that one white room. Having a c-section while awake is the weirdest feeling (I'll spare you the details). Turns out I had cord prolapse, which is when the cord is trying to come out before the baby. They said if they had waited any longer it could've really been dangerous for the both of us.

Anyway... I said all that to say even though I loved being able to get in and out after the c-section [as far as having my baby (went in at 11:30am and was out at 11:45am)], I really wish that I could've done it naturally like I planned because I hate how my body looks but I hurt so bad I don't know how I can get back in the gym. And so, with all that said...

How do you get your body back after a C-Section??? 😞

I'm lightweight depressed about it #imnotgonnalie

First let me say, you have such a beautiful baby boy! Congratulations ! Secondly, I know I can be tough feeling good about your self after having a baby. But give it couple months! As women we wish we can look the way we looked before we got pregnant but in reality it takes time. Give time some time ❤️ the most you can do right now is drink only water, breastfeed, and you'll see by only doing those too how much weight you can lose. Hang in there momma❤️
