just found out I'm getting 2 root canals today! any ladies had them before? how bad was it?

it wasn't too bad. the worst part was how many shots of numbing medicine I got before I couldn't feel anything lol your jaw will definitely be sore afterward. especially if they're doing them both in one sitting.

other than the sore jaw no it wasn't bad at all. the root canal takes the dead nerves and root out of your tooth so you literally can't feel anything with that tooth anymore lol

I honestly didn't have any problem with mines, I wasn't sore afterwards or anything. I just looked like a chipmunk lol

I had one a few weeks ago. It wasn't bad...the worst part for me was the "tooth powder" from the drilling kept going down my throat. And it smells.

what did they use to numb you? @bubblebeck

I can't remember what it was called, but suprisingly it didn't hurt too bad when they injected me.

Yea there is that ☝ I forgot that it smelled.

My jaw was achy afterwards, but it didn't hurt no where near as bad as my "bad" teeth.

Oh yeah. I wasn't pregnant when I got mines done but I recently went back while pregnant to get the crown and it made me sick. Still no pain or anything but when I got home I threw up. It may have just been me though, I've been throwing up everything girl. 🙄
