So last night I'm so glad I kept my stepson, he was up all night moaning and crying, I put him in my bed with me (his dad works overnights) and just rubbed his back and head. This morning he was saying his ears hurt. I had to leave him and my daughter with my mil because I have work. His daddy is going to take him to the docs today at 1. If he were to have gone home last night he wouldn't be going to the docs. She's such a scumbbag, she hardly ever takes him to the docs! She makes excuses! Your children come first, idgaf what circumstances you're in! He almost died of RSV because she wouldn't take him, another time he had a fever of 103, she didn't take him to the docs for 5 days and that was only because my husband was coming to get him!

@alayna22, he's 3. Its a long story. I've been in his life since he was 3 weeks. My husband then was only a friend of mine. The mother left the baby with him and took off for 3 months, (they were never together previously). I helped him because he didn't have a clue. I fell in love with both of them. then one day she showed up with the police saying he took her baby. The following week she filed for child support. We're in a custody battle right now they have joint, she has placement. Technically we're only supposed to only have him Sat and Sunday, but most times we have him 4-5 days a week and she gets a nice check because he has a good job, she doesn't work. what the fuck she does all day is beyond me, but being a mother is not her priority, she always has excuses..

@theosmommy, yes I love him as much as mine. but I will never be his mother and I know that, I don't try to take her place. He loves his mother so much! She doesn't deserve his love. I wish she could straighten the fuck out! She confuses him and teaches him to dislike me and his dad and his siblings. He told me the other day that he's not allowed to talk about his baby sister because momma gets mad and doesn't like her! She's 4 months old!

I'm sorry about that. As long as you keep loving him and not talking bad things about her, I believe is gonna be alright for him. Even though he listens there, it is good for him to have a safe place were he is allowed to express whatever he's feeling 😉
