As my "sister" lost her cousin who was 1 year and a half due to an illness, I constantly worry that my son isn't going to be breathing when I wake up in the middle of the night. I never realized this fear until this morning. it feels minute compared to those wonderful parents (my sisters aunt and uncle) who lost their daughter to something unpreventable.

my grandmother lost her daughter just few months after birth due to sid...she said it was best to enjoy every day she held her and was with her than to feel awful for something she could t help...when my mother had me...i was her daughter..the little girl she never got..tho she still misses her she still had and has beautiful kid her daughter and me....a friend of mine recently lost his son at birth he was born with no eyes and other health problems..they got to spend a few months with him before he passed...its been 7weeks since his son pasted and i can tell how hurt he is,i never went thru losing a child after birth only miscarrying and I'm sure they may have differences but after I got pregnant again I worried everyday till he was born and I worried everyday till he was one..my grandmother was Right telling me to enjoy and not to worry... I stayed so stressed I lost more good moments I could have had.
