I'll tell you what my OB told me. I had food poisoning/stomach flu, they couldn't tell because it's all so similar in symptoms. She said to try my best but if by morning it didn't get better to go to the ER. The only thing that harms anything is you can become dehydrated. It's basically like really bad morning sickness... It doesn't actually hurt the baby.. Just saying. But if you're really that worried go to the ER and they'll hook you up to an IV and maybe give you Zofran for the nausea. But if you want to avoid the thousands of dollars from the ER, I would wait and see how you feel maybe by late afternoon and try and relax and drink a lot of water.

Are you sure it's not early labor signs? My OB told me that some women get flu like symptoms right before labor starts. It's your body cleanings itself out. @lenaa688

Call your ER & ask them. They'll more than likely want you to go in.
