I'm an Army wife, it's definitely tough because I hate being without my husband but it's a secure job with good benefits for us. it also makes our relationship stronger because we miss each other so much and we appreciate the time we do have together
yes, why not!! I met my husband in the military when I was serving.. Trust me if he really loves you, he'll be there.. It'll be great for your family, great career, benefits, traveling, and etc. ...support him and you should be good!
at first i didnt want my husband to go, years later we were struggling sooo much but he struggled more and i was hurt seeing him that way, he always wanted to join the military but didnt cause i stopped him, i then let him go and it was the best decision ever we're doing so much better and hes much happier. you'll miss him through bootcamp but the letters youll recieve will be everything and to see him graduating is the best part you'll guys will be back together eventually 💗
Depending on when he leaves for basic if he decides to go through with it, he should get a leave to go back home. My husband and I got married when he got Holiday Block Leave.
@harmonee_mommy, I doubt that would happen. When my husband was in basic training, he kept telling me in EVERY letter he wrote to me that he got through everyday knowing I was back home routing him on!
