What can I do to help my newborn not be constipated anymore? she's so fussy I feel awful. :(
@kattastrophe, is very right about the breastfeeding.. they can go 10 days without a BM if baby is EBF. gripe water is wonderful too ♡
I know water and juice are not good for a newborn so I'm not gonna do any of that thanks though ladies
are they breastfed or formula, cause it could be normal if they're breastfed. if they use all the nutrients, it makes sense that they have nothing leftover to waste.... otherwise @gypsy.soul2 has great ideas
@ryennbanks2016., lol thanks.. I just do a ton of research and I know a newborns belly can not and will not break down sugars like a toddler tummy.. I've never trusted Dr's bc they're not nutritionist.
I was giving my 3 week old baby prune juice for this main reason, recommended by her doctor. Or you can insert a qtip with Vaseline and it should come out, it sounds scary but it works miracles.
Put A Teaspoon Of Karo Syrup In Her Bottle And Heat It Up Just A Little Bit. That's What My Daughter's Doctor Told Me To Try First And It Worked Right Away. @ryennbanks2016.
don't give a newborn juice of any kind it could really mess their insides up and make it worse.. a newborn can't break down juice period.
do bicycle kicks, and take a qtip with vasceline on it... small circles partially in babies bum for a few minutes and every so often, should come right out.. if not massage belly too and massage belly while you do it..@ryennbanks2016.,
I have a 7 week old baby that is lactose intolerance, milk protein allergies, allergic to soy and acid reflux. The Soy made him so constipated that I took him to the ER and that's when the doctor told me about the prune apple juice, my baby was like 4 or 5 weeks then. It worked like a miracle 🙌🏽
gripewater!
