how much would you charge someone to watch their 6 month old in their home while watching your 9 month old?

Anyone who wants to pay those rates is crazy. I get 25.00 for a pick up from school total car time is 45min. Most people in tx pay between 15-25 depending on time and how many kids only way I would wk for 10 an hour is if kid was brought to my home and he was an angel and I got 40hr a week. In 1999 I worked as a nanny for 3 school aged girls and got paid 7.50hr and got to use the car they provided also got 40 for food to take them out which was big bucks back then. I think it should be a word of mouth thing that's how I got all my jobs. Church is also a good place to start.

@kellynicole, I agree that's how much you should pay someone to watch you're child but I knew she couldn't afford that but I'd spend more in gas getting there. she wants someone to watch her like 17 to 22 hours a week that's not even 40 bucks for 4 days

everyone used to give me $25-$30/day

For me I just charge daily not hourly. A little more if I'm providing food. So not providing food about 30/day or 150/week. Or 40/day 200/week if I provide food.

Depends on where you live, minimum wage here is $10 I would charge around 12-15
