The problem is that you cannot strain yourself at all. So the doctor is Probabaly concerned that you will feel the need to take care of the 5 year old whatever their needs are instead of resting like you're supposed to. I would see if you could get a friend or family member to come over and watch your kiddo. I have a 7 year old step son and even he is constantly needing me attention. He wants to be fed or played with pretty much round the clock and they don't understand what a good time is.

I'm trying to do dat. my aunt will come Wednesday but I have no one for thursdsy for now. how long where u home before labor

when do you usually find out if you have pre-eclampsia?

Well I didn't know dat I had anything at all till this Friday. I went to my normal check up and then they told me I have high blood pressure do they made me tale a pee test, and they found that I have protein in it. den they sent me to the hospital and I been here ever since, running all these tests.@lilbabyboy

Well they told me preeclampsia is wen ur body fights the baby kinda and the mother gets really sick. and yess I was healthy and everything and Friday outta nowhere they send me to the hospital at my normal check up.i had no idea dat something was wrong with me @lilbabyboy16

omg same thing happened to me had high blood pressure and slight protein in urine but then my mom in law took my blood pressure at home and it was normal then they made me pee in a jug for 24 hours and it came back normal so i dont have preeclampsia . i hope everything goes good with yu and baby
