Yea you definitely should, it's not being pushy you're just being a mom it's his job to do what you ask, he's a doctor but you know your own body better than anyone & you don't want to be pushing your body to the limits like that bc then you suffer and you won't even be able to enjoy giving birth @akelly16

@babykarter, I hate to be pushy but since I'm nearing the end I'm going to start kind of being persistent in asking him about certain things! my baby's movements have become really painful when I lay down for bed and I have been so out of breath after doing normal things so I feel like he is on the big side...I'm going to make him check size and everything bcuz it will be me suffering in the end if his measurements weren't supervised towards the end, not my dr. today at my appointment I'm really going to pile on the questions because I have went with the flow too long...33 weeks to be exact lol

At first my doctor was like that too, she would only check the weight, BP, heart rate of the baby and measure my uterus and that was it but I started asking her to check me more thoroughly this being my first I wanted to make sure everything was good and she started being more into the visits instead of rushing me in and out!! @charbear84 @akelly16

Well my doctors reasoning is because of my body size I'm a really tiny woman I was only 96 pounds pre-pregnancy and at 33 weeks I'm only 109 pounds & my baby boy is a little in the bigger side, she doesn't want me to push it until 40 weeks and not have any energy or strength to actually deliver, I have went into preterm labor twice and once was at 28 weeks my baby has been head down and pushing on my cervix since week 27

@babykarter, do you mind if I ask your doctors reason for wanting to only give you until 37 weeks?

@charbear84, @babykarter my dr. hasn't been really checking anything he just asks me if I've had any new symptoms and asks me if I have any questions and that's about it 😩 it's so frusturating...he says he thinks it will be the first week of april since I've delivered my last two a couple weeks early but I'm going to see if he will at least check my cervix since I've had contractions literally every day.. he probably won't, he always acts like he's in a hurry and I know everything cuz it's my third

This is my first and my doctor is giving me until 37 weeks so I'm definitely not making it to April

I know I can't wait either, this is my second. my doctor thinks she'll probably gonna be a couple weeks early because my placenta has started maturing
