ladies who have been through labor before, how was it and the epidural? first child and trying to learn everything lol

I sat in the tub or in the shower for probably half my labor which really helped with pain and the rate of my labor. I didn't have time for an epidural but i think if my labor was longer I would have gotten one.

I loved my epidural! I suffered only two hours of HARD contractions and then I got the epidural. Labor was enjoyable & all I felt was pressure!

so epidural wasn't painful?

I did natural birth it was painful but to be honest so worth it lol wheb I had to pish it didnt hurt at all

I had an epidural with my son. Took 6 hours of slow labor to get me to do it lol. The guy who did it was more of a pain than the actual epidural. He kept yelling at me to slow my heartbeat -because I control that obviously lol- and after it was done I didn't feel jack. My nurses were concerned that I wouldn't be able to push but when it was that time, he was out in 15min lol.

i had no problem with the epidural i actually got induced and when i got admitted i was 2cm and went from 2 to 10 in maybe less then a hour that the epidural didnt want to work until 2 mins before pushing literally lol

Oh gosh!

My epidural didn't work because the doctor put it in my spine too high. It was not a fun experience.

that is what I'm worried about
