Diapers and wipes can be bought right after its confirmed. Things like lotion, baby wash, wipes, diapers, bottles, pacifiers...all those are good to have. As far as diaper sizes go, remember that babies grow at different paces. To be safe, I have a good 5 boxes of newborn diapers, 88 count each. Even if baby only wears them for 2 weeks (or not at all), it makes a good blessing for those who can't afford diapers and are in need. Best of luck mama!

never to early to start with cases of diapers, I'm a 32 weeks and wish I had started earlier when I had more money to spend. now it seems like I'm rushing it.

After 6 weeks your risk if miscarriage drops to about 2% or something like that. But the basics, diapers, wipes, baby bath supplies like shampoo & body wash & lotion, SOCKS!!, should be safe since all of those come gender neutral & you'll need plenty of them all. You probably won't go through too many newborn or size 1 diapers, so I would probably only buy a few packages/boxes of those before moving up & buying a couple of each size as you progress through pregnancy. 😊

Anytime is a good time!! Though I'd wait until at least your 3rd month to be safe, not that any of us want to think that way. But I'd start stocking up on diapers for sure now, & wipes, & anything you FOR SURE want in case your baby shower doesn't go as planned like I see a LOT on here. No one buys what the mother puts on her registry, they all buy what they want to buy or what they like even if you've spent all the time in the world researching & finding what will fit your lifestyle best.

Do you plan on finding out the sex? If so, waiting to find out will make it easier on what to buy. 😃

I started the day after a positive test 😂 I like to plan ahead! I'm 12 weeks, already have 6 pks of diapers and a huge box. Also a bunch of clothes ! 😁

We started once I hit the second trimester. You don't need to know gender to buy the basics.

I didn't start till I got in the 2nd trimester, since the risk of miscarriage goes down some.

I started when I knew the gender. But I did have to stop because of my baby shower in a month.

im a start as soon as i know my babys gender that would be 20 weeks.
