I got my baby's done at 3 months because she had her shots , I didn't care but a lot of people looked at me side eye "my child not yours"

I want my sons ears pierced. So cute I think its best when theyre little

I want to pierce my girls ears but I'm so scared, how did it go for you? how old is she? did you go to Claire's?

If you had her ears pierced with a gun, please watch it carefully! The guns are handled by untrained people who had a 15 minute lesson! If they are red and or sore for more than a day or two after piercing, make sure they aren't infected.

@rileymadisonhasmyheart, it went good she only cried for a sec I had a bottle ready and I gave it to her right after and she forgot all about it lol oh and they have to be 3 months and make sure you see them open the gun new right in front of you cause I've heard some places try to reuse the same one. I was scared at first I almost left but I decided to do it lol

@meagansimone, yea for some reason people seem to think places that use the gun reuse the same one but that's not true at all. They have a sterile gun sealed in a package they opened it right Infront of me and threw it away when they where done. & honestly I don't think it takes that much practice to point a gun at a dot on your earlobe and pull the trigger I'd see if it was a tongue piercing or something but it's not. It's not rocket science

@motheroftwojk, @mommyrai @spacekitty0426 lol there was this lady in there with a seven year old fighting her to get them done giving me the side eye when my baby was getting hers. I wanted to be like see if you got it don't when she was small you wouldn't be having this problem

Lol I've seen so many older children fight & cry getting pierced. A little child wont remember the next day or even the end of the day. They will stop crying soon & wont fight you before. Getting it done when their young is so much easier

I didn't get mine pierced til I was a tween. but idk if I'll pierce livs ears just yet.

@elenasmommy, I didn't say that used the same gun. I've worked there, the people aren't trained to use them well.

@meagansimone, yea but like I said it's not rocket science. Id do it myself if I had sterile equipment.

@elenasmommy, which isn't a bad idea, I'm going off what I've seen. I had tons of people coming back that had infections. I don't know what some people have done wrong, but I've seen a lot of people with infections. and it could be that they had a nickel allergy, I don't know. It's still something I'd watch out for, needle or gun otherwise. I'd muh rather have a professional do it.
