definitely normal with my first I lost it at 38 weeks so it could happen it might not but even if you don't lose it its no big deal it comes out during delivery ☺
I lost mine last week. But my OB said that you can lose yours slowly throughout your pregnancy or all at once, neither of which 100% mean labor is soon

I lost mine at 35 weeks , if you don't lose yours it comes out during labor
