I went with the what to expect hospital checklist. Plus I got a list from the hospital when I took a tour :)

I packed baby hats, mittens, outfit for pictures, and going home outfit, (jacket depending on weather) baby hair brush, blankets, bottles, and socks, my bag pajamas, socks, hair Ties, pads, tooth brush, tooth paste, body wash, deodorant, granny panties, sports bras, chap stick, phone charger, insurance cards, comfty outfit to go home in

I'm packing chap stick, clothes for me to leave in and wear while I'm there, socks, lotion, all my stuff to shower and brush my teeth, underwear that are comfortable, my phone and charger of course, maybe my iPad, and some snacks because I'm trying to do a natural birth and they tend not to let you eat, I have breast pads and nipple cream for trying to breast feed, I have all the clothes for my son, blankets for him, hat, mittens, a snowsuit to come home in, binkies, diapers just in case, his car seat with everything ready to go. I'll probably bring myself a pillow and a blanket I really like and my birth plan will be packed to give to the doctor to attempt to follow it! Don't forget your ID and insurance card just in case!
