*this is long sorry*
need some help, this isn't about pregnancy or babies. so I've been on the implant for a couple months now, abundance I got it in my periods have been really weird which I knew could happen. now they last around 11days instead of 7 like before. this month my period was so light and suffered from basically no pain which is unusual for me, but since the last few days it's been really heavy and I'm now on day 15!! also my stomach has been looking super bloated but has looked like I'm pregnant again aswell! I've actually got tests ready for when I finish just to make sure because I know sometimes you can still have period type things when pregnant and I know you can still get pregnant on the implant. I'll put a pic of my stomach the other day. it's basically been like this for the past few days (well since I noticed) I never look like this when bloated not even when I was pregnant. the only time I looked like this was when my bump was there
I'm on implant too and feel very similar to u. it can take 6 months to settle or just doesnt . I'm debating having mine taken out as it driving me mad xx
Get the coil. one of them stops your periods 👍 added bonus. If you wouldn't be pregnant enough to take a test then your belly bloat won't be from pregnancy. also, you ovulate / get pregnant around 14 days into your cycle and then test when your period is due. but If you think you could already be pregnant and are bleeding whilst pregnang then it might be better to test now for peace of mind. otherwise by your next period you could be 8 weeks pregnant .
I'm gonna take a test when I'm next able to which would be when I'm next due on. only problem with different contraception is that the implant works really well for me and I can't trust myself to take pills and the injection my doctors is stupid with making appointments. @tuftyturtle
Your stomach muscles won't be as tight as before and you're more stretchy so your body will react differently and bloating may look different. If you think you could be pregnant then obviously do a test but I would call your dr/nurse and just explain what's happening and they will tell you if it's normal or maybe suggest a different method of contraception
When I first had my implant I had a period for 6 weeks, I went to the docs and they gave me the pill to sort it out. Your body has changed now so I wouldn't worry about the bloating at the mo. Get yourself to the docs hun x
