im just using a bassinet for the first few months. i wont even put the crib up til 6-7 months probably. id say you could def save yourself the money for now.

yes our house is small too that's why we gotta keep it simple but that doesn't mean it won't look cute! :)

@ocgirl, I love that pack and play. our house is very small. our bedroom won't fit anything but a bassinet and the babies room is pretty small thats why I kinda wanna wait on the crib

I'm doing a pack n play and we're getting a crib for when we move out.

My newborn refuses to sleep in the crib 😂😂 she only sleeps in her swig and bassinet! So the crib will have to wait!

my husband and I bought a gorgeous but simple crib at ikea for $100. that one will stay in the nursery and we bought a pack and play that comes with a bassinet and changing bed that will stay in our room for a few months and it's perfect for camping trips and what not

I'm doing bassinet in our room, crib in his room and pack n play in the living room

I just also want my baby close to me. that's how my parents were. plus I'm gonna breast feed and I think CO sleeping will make that easier lol I was thinking about getting a pack and play for when we go to grandparents house for naps etc.

They have done new studies that sleeping with baby until they are three is so good for their hearts and keeps them from having sids. Among other things

We will be doing the rock N play or pack n play for about 6 months. but also have a crib for nap time that also converts to a toddler bed when she is older

@machelle137, that was my idea too. I don't wanna have to spend money on a crib that's just gonna sit there and not be used

I was thinking of having the bassinet and a pack and play. my parents never had cribs with us kids. it was bassinet and we slept in the bed with them
