only time you'll have to pee is if you're gonna "pop" which is the term they use for an over full bladder. other than that full bladder helps the image as well as it being water that you drink makes it a pretty picture of baby :). I learned about "popping" the hard way. but better to over fill your bladder than it nor be full enough.

The place I got my 3d/4d/HD ultrasound done had me go to the bathroom before doing my ultrasound. Here is one of the pictures I got done.
