ftm, my son is 2weeks and 3 days old...my grama has been a HUGE help with him since my fiancé has been away. I truly do appreciate her help all hours of the night and thru out the day. I'm very blessed...she's 72 if I'm not mistaken and sometimes at night, when my son can't sleep, she'll walk him around the house so I can sleep. only thing with that is, she has really bad knees, our cat is notorious for sneaking up on u and getting under ur feet and I'm always afraid she's going to drop him....I don't want to hurt her feelings :( how do I tell her not to walk around the house with him without sounding rude? I'd rather her stay in our room if she wants to walk him... :(

Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. My husband's sil has covid. She's obviously quarantining in her house but is still loving on her kids and husband. I'm sorry but if I had it I would lock myself in a room.
She hasn't gotten her kids tested... they're obviously doing the whole remote learning and quarantining for two weeks but she plans to send them back without testing them on the Monday after Thanksgiving 😬😱.
My husband thinks I'm overreacting but I told him I don't want to see them on Christmas....

My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...

My grandma was the same way when my daughter was born! It was weird reading this because I felt like I was reading my past! Only, my issue was my chihuahua. She's a sneaky little thing. We would just put her in a spare room at first, and then I got a collar with a bell after a few weeks. I only put it on her at night, that way I can hear her, and so could my grandma.
